80s Rewind 2011 will now take place on 2nd September 2011 at Scarborough Open Air Theatre for the ultimate Friday night party.

Music fans are invited to the spectacular site to celebrate 80s music at its absolute best.

Due to popular demand and the public expressing their desire to attend but unable to on the Sunday, the decision has been made to move the date.

80s Rewind 2011 features some of the biggest names from the electronic decade including ABC, Go West, Dr and the Medics plus many more who will perform at North Yorkshire’s top music venue and stir crowds into a nostalgic frenzy. Due to previous commitments, Tony Hadley will not be performing at the rescheduled 80s Rewind 2011 but the additional act will be announced imminently.

Sam Shrouder, Scarborough Open Air Theatre spokesperson comments, “After last year’s hugely successful show we’ve rescheduled 80s Rewind 2011 to the first Friday in September to encapsulate the ultimate Friday night party. With such classic acts sure to raise the audience to their feet and bring North Yorkshire’s most spectacular venue to life, 80s Rewind 2011 will be the perfect end to any working week and allow spectators to dance through the night in pure 80s fever. It’s a great shame Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley will not be joining us on this rescheduled date but we will announce the exciting replacement act very soon.”
