YOUR GUIDE TO BONFIRE NIGHT

THIS weekend - and more specifically Sunday - the fireworks will be going off in force as Bonfire Night rolls around once again.
Remember, remember the fifth of November - and you'll need to if you're planning on getting along to one of the organised events this weekend.
And that's because there's plenty going on all over the borough - and a little further afield if you want to travel to a big display.
Here's our round-up of some of the events taking place this weekend...
TODAY
Fireworks display and children's rides, Dearne Valley Garden Centre, Station Road, Wath
6pm. Fireworks display and children's rides including hook a duck, octopus ride, inflatable slide and a merry-go-round. There will also be a catering cabin offering hot pork pies, burgers and candy floss and the garden centre will be open for customers to browse and buy. For more information contact (01709) 877363.
Bonfire and firework display, The Plough, Balby Road, Balby.
As well as fireworks, there will be hot dogs and burgers and pie and peas available as well as drinks. Cost 1. For more information contact: (01302) 311115
Bonfire Fun Fair, The Glasshouse, Doncaster Road, Kirk Sandall.
Free rides to everyone between 5pm and 5.30pm. Fireworks start at 8pm. Entry is free. Ccontact: (01302) 884268.
TOMORROW
Mexborough Community Partnership Firework Carnival, Athletic Ground, New Oxford
Road, Mexbrough
WHEN: Gates 6pm. Starts 8pm.
Huge firework carnival with stalls, sideshows, attractions and food. Advance tickets 3, or 4 the night. Contact (01709) 582244.
SATURDAY
Bonfire and fireworks display, Bentley Park, Bentley.
6pm. Community First at Bentley are hosting a community bonfire and fireworks display.
SUNDAY
Doncaster Big Bang Fireworks and Fun Fair Spectacular, Sandall Beat, alongside the racecourse.
Gates open at 4.45pm. Children's display starts at 6pm with a main display at 8.30pm. The annual event, organised by funfair supremo Roger Tuby, will also include a funfair with new rides as well as a huge fireworks display and usual food stalls. Free car parking and free admission. The event will be helping to supporting children's telephone helpline Childline.
Bonfire and fireworks, Brockholes Farm, Branton
Gates open at 4.30pm, bonfire lit at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7pm. The popular visitor attraction will be welcoming visitors of all ages for a fun family display. Customers are asked not to bring their own fireworks or sparklers. There will also be a fun fair and stalls. No unaccompanied children under 18 allowed. Cost is 4, children under three get in for free. Pay at the gate. For more information contact: (01302) 535057
Fantastic Fireworks, Palfreys Lodge, Acacia Road, off Cantley Road, Cantley.
The bonfire will be lit at 6pm with the firework display starting at 6.30pm. A bonfire and fireworks display. Tickets cost 3 for adults and 2 for children, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact: (01302) 534511.
Bonanza Grand Firework Display, Coulman Road recreation Ground, off Church Balk, Thorne.
Gates open at 6.30pm. Thorne-Moorends Town Council is hosting a bonanza Grand Firework Display with fairground rides for children. Food and refreshments are also available. In the interest of safety, people are requested not to take their own fireworks. Car parking is available. Cost is free.
