You'd be barking to miss them
YOU will be feeling woof this weekend as all roads lead to two separate fun dog shows this Saturday and Sunday.
For fans of four legged friends will be in their element on both days with a pair of events that canine lovers will be barking mad to miss out on.
The first will be held at Hayfield Lakes when participants will be able to register their dog for judging from 11.30am. Other attractions will include a classic car rally, dog display team and brass band before show judging starts at noon.
The charity day will feature six classes - most well behaved dog/bitch, best golden oldie (over eight years), best rescue dog/bitch, dog/bitch with the waggiest tail, dog/bitch the judge would most like to take home and dog/bitch with the most beautiful eyes with winners from each class going forward to best in show. Class entry is 50p.
Then the following day, the RSPCA will be holding a similar event at the South Yorkshire Animal Centre on Great North Road from 11am. The open day gala will see judging get under way at noon. Everyone is welcome and entry is 1 for adults and 50p for children.
