We have five copies of this amazing illustrated giant timeline, capturing the complete history of Great Britain with over 1,000 captions and illustrations.

Published by children’s author Christopher Lloyd in collaboration with the National Trust, the new timeline takes readers on a visually exhilarating journey through the ages: From the dinosaurs to the Battle of Hastings, Henry VIII’s Reformation, Oliver Cromwell’s Civil War, George Stephenson’s Rocket, the invention of the internet by Sir Tim Berners-Lee…and beyond.

The What on Earth? Wallbook Timeline of British History is designed for children aged 7 to 14 years.

A 2-metre long timeline unfolds to reveal all of the Kings and Queens, famous battles, the heroes of science, art and culture as well as iconic national buildings and monuments.

Every moment is displayed in chronological order using beautiful illustrations, each one painstakingly drawn by What on Earth? illustrator Andy Forshaw. At the back of the book are newspaper-style reports on historic events as if they happened yesterday, a crossword, letters to the editor and a multiple-choice quiz.

The finishing touch is a handy pocket magnifier making it perfect for curious children, parents and grandparents to enjoy together.

The Wallbook Time of British History costs £12.99 and can be purchase at What on Earth Books on Amazon or selected stores of Waterstones.
