The Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster Racecourse promises to be an exciting day of flat racing that will showcase tomorrow’s champions today.

Doncaster Free Press has teamed up with Doncaster Racecourse to offer a lucky reader and guest the chance to win The Old Weighing Room County prize package, which includes a meal for two at the racecourse restaurant (table for two hours), a pair of County Enclosure tickets, a complimentary glass of champagne and a racecard.

In addition, four runners-up will each win a pair of County Enclosure tickets and be able to witness the future champions of British Horse Racing battle it out for the coveted Group 1 Racing Post Trophy, which gets underway with the first race at 2pm.

Racing Post Trophy Day, the final Group 1 event of the British Flat Racing season, gets underway on Friday, October 23 and race-goers will be thrilled by some top-class racing action.

All eyes will be on Doncaster favourite Andrea Atzeni, who is bidding for a third successive triumph at this prestigious event.

After riding Kingston Hill to Racing Post Trophy victory in 2013, he partnered the 2014 winner Elm Park to victory last year.
