THURSDAY CHILDREN: Little Rascals Mother and Toddler Group takes place at the Community Centre, Brodsworth Way, Rossington from 9.30am to 11am. The group is open for 0-4 year olds and the first session is free with tea and coffee for parents with treats for little ones. Contact Cathryne on 761996 for more information.

EVENTS: Weekly floristry workshops take place at Floraria, Queensgate, Waterdale every Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday from 2pm to 5pm. Sessions cost 10 each plus materials. Contact (01302) 341478 for more information.

WALKS: Enjoy a walk for health from 10am to 11.30am around Sandall Beat Wood. The gentle stroll is aimed at people not used to exercise. Participants should meet at the Community Environment Centre.

EVENTS: Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery is hosting a new interactive display of fossils and prehistoric life. The display is programmed to run for a whole year and the Museum and Art Gallery is open Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 2-5pm. Admission is free.

CHILDREN: Pre-school play groups take place every Thursday for babies and toddlers at Epworth's Thurlow Pavilion. The musical themed events take place from 9am to 10am for toddlers and 10am to 11am for babies.

MEETING: The National Council for Divorced, Separated and Widowed people holds its weekly social meeting at the Catholic Club, Waterdale, from 8pm.

DANCE: Fun, structured tuition in ballet, tap, jazz and street dance for children aged three years and upwards by an experienced and qualified teacher will take place at Blaxton Village Hall, Back Lane, Blaxton from 4.30pm. For further information please contact 07787521700.

SATURDAY

SUNDAY

EVENTS: Green Guardians, a programme of environmental activities for children and adults to share, takes place at Sandall

Beat Wood from 10am to noon. Children up to 11 years old are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

DANCING: Dance pioneer Malinda Lygo will be staging a themed 1940s dance with live music from Philip Randles at the Parklands Sports and Social Club, Wheatley Hall Road, Doncaster, from 4.30pm. Tickets are priced at 3 and funds will go towards Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Parkinson's Disease Society (Doncaster Branch).

MONDAY
