Customers at a Doncaster village pub donned their best drag outfits for a race – all in the name of charity.

The annual cross-dressing run around Wroot from the Cross Keys pub raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Help for Heroes. Pub landlord Barry Tonkinson, aged 62, said: “We just wanted to do something different. It is always a good laugh while raising money for charity at the same time.” The event has so far raised more than £100.
