WALKING fans can head for the hills this weekend as members of Doncaster Wayfarers rambling group set out on their latest stroll.

The group will be tackling a route between Whirlow Bridge and Hathersage with three separate walks for walkers of varying abilities.

The A walk is 13 miles, the B walk nine miles and the C walk six miles - so there’s something for those looking for something demanding as well as for walkers just after a pleasant countryside stroll.

The price for each route is £10.

Booking is essential and places can be reserved through Margaret Fynney on 01302 867 910. The club welcomes new members, who can try out for up to three walks before deciding to become fully fledged members. Annual membership is £10.
