SLEEPING BEAUTY

Civic Theatre until January 1

WE love going to the panto each year - its always really good fun and we can’t wait for Christmas to come round for another exciting show!

There are always lots of jokes and silly things to make us laugh - and the songs are always really good too.

We didn’t know if we would like Sleeping Beauty because we thought it would be about a princess and be for girls but it is a really good panto for everyone to enjoy.

King Eddie (Coronation Street’s Eddie Windass, aka Steve Huison) was very funny - he made us laugh with his jokes. Everyone booed Carabosse the evil fairy everytime he came on - he looked really scary with his beard and long hair and he was really nasty to the Princess who was really beautiful with her blonde hair and red dress.

The funniest person was Cuthbert. He had on some really colourful outfits and made everyone laugh with the stupid things that he did. Everyone was laughing everytime he came on stage and we had to shout things at him too.

This is a really funny show and you should go and see it. Children and grown-ups will both like it. We can’t wait until next year’s panto - please hurry up and come again!
