Former Downton Abbey star Thomas Howes is gearing up to appear on stage for the popular show 'What The Dickens Re-Imagined'.

A FORMER Downton Abbey star will be taking centre stage to perform a Christmas-themed production brought back by popular demand.

Thomas Howes will be part of the 2Act Theatre Company’s production of ‘What The Dickens Re-Imagined’ to play the role of Charles Dickens taking the audience through the prolific writer’s life and career in a festively-themed performance.

The Woodlands-born actor, who played footman William Mason in the periodic drama Downton on ITV1 which has also recently hit American television screens, and the 2Act Theatre Company team will be appearing at the Dearne Playhouse on Sunday, from 7.30pm.

Tickets are £12.
