Pop favourites Saint Etienne have announced a one-off South Yorkshire date.
The 90s trio will perform the soundtrack of their film, How We Used To Live, as part of Sheffield Docfest on June 12.
In a statement to fans, the group said: “Hello friends. We have news, good news, about a very special screening of How We Used To Live in Sheffield.
“The soundtrack will be performed live by Saint Etienne - Sarah, Pete, Bob and Debs - with help from extra musicians, including a cellist.”
“It will be part of the excellent Sheffield Doc Fest, where Finisterre was screened many years ago, and will take place at The Crucible. Jimmy White and Ronnie O’Sullivan will not be providing backing vocals, unfortunately.”
Bob will be DJing before the film and there will be a Q&A with the whole gang afterwards.
It added: “It’s the only gig we have planned so far this year and tickets go on sale priced at £15 each this Thursday at 10am.”
