Pub of the week

The White Hart at Barnby Dun.
The White Hart at Barnby Dun.

There has been a public house at this same spot in Barnby Dun since the early 1800s - but it has only been in its present form since 1914.

Situated at the centre of this community, the White Hart is a thriving venue, which is not surprising bearing in mind its superb corner position bang in the middle of the village on the junction of High Street and Top Road.

It’s the place to be if you are a real ale fan and along with a varied menu of reasonably priced tasty food it’s a popular stopping off place for that snack, quick drink or perhaps you desire something a bit more substantial.

If that’s the case why not enjoy a full meal from a comprehensive menu which features high quality, home prepared food at competitive prices.

There is also an upstairs function room available for meetings, parties, meals and conferences.

It can seat 40 people, and a white board, flip chart, projector and screen is available too upon request .

Back to the regular diners though who can choose from a main menu, light bites or Sunday lunch, too much to detail here - so perhaps the only way to appreciate what’s on offer is to view their website on White Hart Doncaster
