GET set for another bumper week of entertainment and attractions as Doncaster gets set to party this weekend.
For the biggest event on the calendar in our Free Press Freetime Fab5Guide this week is the annual Doncaster Pride carnival - and partygoers had best get their dancing shoes on for this year's live spectacular at the Racecourse promises twelve hours of entertainment.
If all that seems a bit too much, then try the more sedate climes of Conisbrough Castle which will be hosting a medieval themed event or join Doncaster Ramblers on an evening stroll. There's also events at the Danum Hotel and Cusworth Hall to enjoy. Read on for more...
1. PRIDE IN THE NAME OF LOVE
GET set to party with passion as Doncaster Pride returns for 12 hours of fun - and its bigger and better than ever before.
The annual festival, aimed at Doncaster's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community but open to all, will come to Doncaster Racecourse with a host of pop favourites lining up on a packed programme as part of a day loaded with entertainment and attractions.
Topping the bill will be 80s icon Toyah, best remembered for hits such as It's A Mystery, with former members of S Club 7, ex-Atomic Kitten star Liz McLarnon and former Coronation Street star Adam Rickitt also taking to the stage. There will also be a host of local acts including Doncaster favourites Alexander Price and Tobias stepping into the limelight. 2. BIG KNIGHT OUT
THE might castle of Conisbrough becomes the stage for the pageant of the knights as they do battle in a weekend of rollicking adventures.
See members of Escafeld Re-Enactors gather for courtly pursuits of singing and dancing, presentations of arming a knight and then witness the colourful and dramatic conclusion of a tournament of knights. It promises to be an all-action spectacular that fans of medieval history of all ages will love in the Castle's picturesque setting.

3. HALL'S WELL
GET set for family fun at Cusworth Hall with two great events over the next few days.
Head down to the hall today for How Does Your Garden Grow?, two hours of fun and games based on outdoor and gardening themes. The session takes place between 1pm and 3pm and includes stories and activities. Entry is 50p per child with accompanying adults free.
Then on Tuesday, if you fancy treating your teddy to a picnic, if you go down to Cusworth you'll be able to enjoy a big surprise with your furry friend. Between 2pm and 4pm there will be a competition and parade for the bears as well as a teddy quiz, trail and games.

4. WALKING BACK TO HAPPINESS
PUT your best foot forward and join Doncaster Ramblers as they prepare to stage their final Wednesday Evening Walk of a packed summer programme.
The final walk, the 17th since the annual festival of walks got under way in May, will round offf with an easy summer's evening stroll around the Lakeside area.
The walk will include a stroll around the lake and the surrounding area and is approximately five miles or so and will take about two and a half hours to complete.
Doncaster Ramblers stages walks on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the year with walks suitable for all ages and abilities. Visit the website for the full programme.

5. SUMMER LOVIN'
YOU certainly will be having a blast with some summer lovin' at the Danum Hotel tomorrow night.
For fans of classic 70s movie Grease will be in their element with a tribute to the music and of course the styles of the flick which helped turn Olivia Newton John and John Travolta into global icons.
The film, which tells a 1950s love story through classic songs, gave the world hits such as You're The One That I Want, Summer Nights and Greased Lightning as high school lovers Sandy and Danny proved that Grease really is the word. Expect to dance the night away to a whole host of rock 'n' roll classics!
