Come fly with me – because a new flying school has opened at the Sandtoft airfield near Doncaster.
Fly365 is a Civil Aviation Authority-approved microlight flight training school which has been teaching people to fly microlights in Lincolnshire for 14 years.
The new school near Doncaster will train pilots on Flexwing and Fixedwing microlights.
A spokesman said: “Come and learn to fly or just come and have a one-off go yourself or as a gift.
“Fly365 gives you access to top of the range aircraft and makes learning to fly affordable.
“Once you have gained your licence we can help you stay in the air for minimal outlay.”
If you’re not quite old enough to gain your flying licence, how about heading over to Wentworth Castle Gardens this Bank Holiday for a teddy bears’ picnic?
Children accompanied by a teddy can join in the fun for free at the event on Bank Holiday Monday from 10am to 4pm.
This bank holiday is also a chance for you to discover how much Wentworth Castle Gardens has to offer.
It’s a great day out for families – you can storm the castle to find the dragon, run around a 400-year-old tree, roll down the hill in front of the Corinthian Temple, make daisy chains on the lawns, play hide and seek in the maze-like Union Jack garden or enjoy close-up views of the herds of red and fallow deer.
Visit Wentworth Castle to find out more information.
