Following our flashback to the life and influence of Isle teacher Marjorie Trimingham who recently celebrated her 100th birthday, this week we have a selection of photos of her.

Miss Trimingham celebrated the milestone at her current home, Cumberworth Lodge in Haxey.

Her career saw her work at Owston Ferry before joining staff at Epworth’s County Primary School, known more commonly as The Board School, finishing at the South Axholme school.
