Leopard expert’s talk at Doncaster wildlife park

A WORLD carnivore expert is visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Doncaster, on Saturday to deliver an insight into animal conservation projects in Africa.

Lise Hanssen is the founder of the AfriCat Foundation, which works on cheetah and leopard conservation on farmlands in central Namibia, and she is on a fundraising drive for the Predator Conservation Trust, which is dedicated to the survival of endangered species.

The talk at 4pm at the Park’s Wild Café costs £5 per person or a minimum £3 donation for YWP annual members and visitors paying normal admission to the park.

Lise, who is on a whistle-stop lecture tour of the UK, chose to speak at YWP because of its commitment to conservation work, protecting rare species around the world.
