In 1980, NME’s front cover proclaimed; “The Human League - One Day All Music Will Be Made Like This!”

‘Dare’ seems unassailable as a landmark of electronic pop, synthesizers and digital equipment as modern pop’s standard tools.

Both “Open Your Heart” and the classic single “Don’t You Want Me” were hits on both sides of the Atlantic, the latter a UK No.1, which ensured that ‘Dare’ also topped the British charts. At the time, ‘Dare’ seemingly appealed to everybody - housewives and students, electronic boffins as well as people who only bought one record a year. Thirty years on, both the aforementioned hit singles and ‘The Things That Dreams Are Made Of’ are still the most in demand tracks in their live set.

This special remastered 2CD set additionally features six postcards, two wallets and a 16-page booklet and will be released on June 4.
