Pancake fans should make tracks for flipping good fun at Little Chef this weekend.
The nation’s favourite roadside dining operator is getting behind Pancake Day and taking the March celebrations one step further to create Pancake Week, which will come to an end on Sunday.
Local Little Chef restaurants will be hosting pancake related activities for the community including pancake eating competitions, learning how to flip a pancake like a pro and dress up your pancake, alongside £1 pancakes for all diners for the whole week.
Every Little Chef around the country, including Doncaster, will be not only be inviting diners to enjoy plates of pancakes, but local schools and the community will be invited down to take part in the activities organised by the restaurants.
The week of celebration will see pancakes available all day throughout the week.
Rob Burns, marketing executive at Little Chef, says: “For 55 years pancakes have been a national favourite, and even today pancakes are still our biggest seller on the menu. “What better way to celebrate that, then by getting behind Pancake Day and turning it into a week of celebrations!
“It is a great way to get involved with local schools and communities, bring people together and enjoy pancakes for a pound!”
Today there will be a pancake race with a pancake decorating competition tomorrow.
The events will take place at the Little Chef on the Great North Road at Skellow. Contact 01302 330253 for details.
