It will be all the fun of the fair in Balby on Good Friday.
For St Catherine’s House will open its doors, together with the adjoining Victorian Tea Room and Walled Garden, who are all part of Flourish Enterprises, to host a fun-packed Flourish Easter Bonanza family fun day.
There will be a range of stalls in St Catherine’s House at Woodfield Park, off Tickhill Road, including ones selling crafts, cakes, T-shirts, health products, jewellery and candles.
Flourish Enterprises, which is supported by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), provide work and vocational opportunities to people with mental health needs and learning disabilities who need support to get back into education or employment.
The Easter event will take place on April 18, between 11am and 4pm. There will be an Easter trail for the kids, a bouncy castle, face painting and a Pets Corner, where little ones can fuss a range of pets, including rabbits. Kids will also be able to take part in a children’s sticking-and-gluing session in the cabin in the Walled Garden.
There will be bedding plants and vegetable seedlings for sale, which have been grown by volunteers with learning disabilities and mental health needs at the Walled Garden, as well as a range of gifts in the shop on site.
Mike Rysak, of the Walled Garden, said: “This will be a really excellent event for all the family. Why not book a stall and pop the date in your diary so you can take part in some Easter fun.”
