Doncaster businesses asked to pledge help for fundraising cycle rides
Two cycle rides, which take place on Sunday April 23, will see a group of professional and skilled cyclists tackle some of the most difficult terrain in the county including Holme Moss and a climb of 15,000 feet during a 110 mile ride.
Meanwhile, a group of novices and experienced cyclists will tackle a 54 mile flat route.

Hide AdCo-organiser of the event, Sarah White, said: “The support that we have received so far has been fantastic and we have had droves of cyclists pledging their commitment to tackle personal fitness challenges, be that ticking off one of the biggest cycling challenges Yorkshire has to offer or even taking to two wheels for the first time ever.”
She added: “Now we call on local businesses to offer support in sponsorship terms, and with a variety of packages available we hope that we can exceed the amount we raised in 2016 for Doncaster based charity Firefly and Cancer Research UK as part of the Equinox Ball fundraiser.”
Opportunities available include signage on the fleet caravans, the sponsorship of food and drink stations and goody bag contents with package costs starting from as little as £125. With the rides starting and finishing from Doncaster Deaf Trust in Leger Way, it is hoped that friends and families will support the cyclists and enjoy drinks, food and a few stalls to support the efforts of those that have taken part.
Sarah further added: “The team at Yorkshire Caravans have once again pledged their support by offering two caravans which will accompany the riders around their route and providing somewhere for them to rest.”
