The Bawtry Revival festival offers fun and nostalgia for all the family this August bank holiday weekend.

The three day long event is in aid of Help the Heroes and promises to offer entertainment for the whole family with its line up of entertainment which includes live music, classic cars and a beer festival.

The beer festival, presented by the Cooper and Griffin Real Ales Pub, runs to Sunday in the marquee and is bound to please beer lovers with over 60 real ales and ciders to choose from.

Drinks on offer have been specially selected from local, national and specialist breweries, and the bar will be serving from midday until late on all three days.

Doncaster folk-rock band, Stafford Galli open the festival on Friday night at 5pm with their penultimate ever gig.

Following them will be a rock DJ and an Aurora charity auction featuring foods from around Bawtry.

Saturday’s line-up includes music from Lincolnshire indie-rock band The Torn, entertainment from Hirsty and Danny from Capital FM, a James Bond themed burlesque company as well as a charity auction.

Period costume from the 1940s and 60s is welcomed on Sunday, when there will also be a charity car run with classic cars and motorbikes, that will drive through the town.
