A night of movie musical magic

ROB McVeigh takes to Gainsborough's Trinity Arts Centre's stage on Saturday 4th July at 8pm for the show Movie Musical Magic, a stunning presentation of many of Hollywood's more recent shining moments.

You will be delighted with renditions of some of the great movie musical songs, including Music Of The Night from Phantom Of The Opera', Come What May from Moulin Rouge, One Night Only from Dreamgirls, and many many more.

The show also includes hits from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hairspray, Annie and a whole lot more besides.

Rob McVeigh, who graced our TV screens when he beat thousands of other entrants to be one of the 11 finalists in Lord Lloyd Webbers competition to find a new star for Joseph, will be appearing alongside a six-strong cast in the premiere of the new tour of Movie Musical Magic at the Gainsborough venue.

Movie Musical Magic is touring nationally, but is proudly produced by local company Yellow Brick Road Stage Productions.

When asked about touring this national production to what could be classed an insignificant venue, Nic Breeze (director and co-star) said: "No venue is insignificant. We tour theatres from a hundred seats to thousands, and every single one is just as important.

"A good theatre experience should be available on everybody's doorstep, from a child's first experience, maybe at panto, through to Shakespearean plays and ballets to popular entertainment such as tribute shows and musical concerts.

"It is a part of the community, part of our education, and part of our well being. We should all be supporting our local theatres and keeping them alive for future generations to enjoy."

Tickets cost 10 and 8 concessions and are available from the Trinity box office now on 01427 676655 or book online at www.trinityarts.co.uk
