THERE being (still) a website purporting to show the comprehensive stock of clothing and underwear retailed by the late respected firm of Pinneys, I recently tried to purchase some pure wool shortsleeved mens vests, which are now as rare, as hen's teeth, firstly via internet and later by post.
Having had no success I eventually discovered that Pinneys is no longer with us. Nevertheless I am convinced that Pinneys did not manufacture those vests and that somewhere, someone knows where they are being made or can be purchased. If so, can I appeal to your readership to point me in a helpful direction?
