I AM pleased to read that a date for the War Veterans' Parade is going to be arranged.
The council should be ashamed of themselves to even consider not acknowledging the part these men have played.

Now Mr Winter has done it again re Sarah Stevenson with his remarks (Free Press, September 11), excusing himself for not doing anything much.

It doesn't matter what colour the medal was I'm sure she deserved more than a bunch of flowers.
