Not all cyclists are inconsiderate!

Further to L Dickinson`s letter, where it was stated that cyclists should wear protective headgear, be insured and have bikes maintained.
Little do most people realise that most serious cyclists who are in cycling clubs, wear helmets, maintain their cycles and ARE insured through the club and British Cycling Federation, paying subscriptions to cover that expense.
So, please be aware that the next time an accident happens involving a club cyclist, whether it involves a motorist, motorcyclist or bus driver, the cyclist is insured, and is covered by a legal team to assist in recompense from any guilty party.
