IT was interesting to note that MP's recently voted to supplement their salaries and inflation proofed pensions by continuing with the discredited system of claiming for second homes through " expenses ".
They also voted against allowing an external audit of the bills they submit under this system.

Thirty three government ministers voted to maintain the 'status quo' along with Caroline Flint, one of our local MP's. to maintain the so called ' John Lewis ' list. Despite the governments record on reforming everything under the sun, these MP's considered that it was satisfactory on this occasion to make no reforms.

How does she justify this misuse of tax payers money? Over to you Ms. Flint

Ms Flint has a husband to support on expenses (supported by the taxpayer), thereby having a vested interest in NOT changing the present arrangements.
