I realise that you are all probably sick of people complaining about bin collections, but I think I am right to make my point in this instance.
I have a husband and 4 children, and normally struggle to manage with a fortnightly collection. We recycle as much as we can, but usually need to make a couple of trips to the tip every week as well.

It could be argued that its my own fault for h
aving 4 children, but would like to point out that I did have them before the fortnightly bin system was in place, otherwise I might have stopped at two.

This week we went to our local tip in Rossington on Sunday afternoon to find it was closed as all the skips were full. JUST what am I supposed to do with my rubbish now? Not wanting to leave my rubbish in the garden, or bring it back into the house I am a bit stuck. I have left it in the car, but am not relishing the thought of getting in there again, as the weather is hot, and it must smell disgusting by now, but short of piling it up in the street, what other option do I have?

I think that as well as being unhygienic, it is a waste of petrol as we now have to do the trip again. I think there should be some kind of system in place where I could pay more and have more rubbish collected even if it is still on a fortnightly basis.

Mrs Davis
Rossington.
