Not happy with taking away the ten pence tax, he now hits the motorist with another stealth tax and to cap it all he back dates the tax.
It takes nearly ten weeks of my basic state pension to pay the council tax, three weeks to pay for water rates. Now it could take up to four more weeks to pay for my car tax.
It doesn't take a genius to add these weeks up. That's 17 weeks pension gone before I've set foot outside the door. I hope the voters remember this when the election comes round - can't be too soon!
