MY wife and I have just returned from an overnight stay in Doncaster and we were truly delighted with the friendliness of people.
We were among the many thousands who went to the Elton John concert at the Keepmoat Stadium and, as we live 100 miles away, we decided to stay at a hotel nearby.

The staff were really friendly, helpful and went beyond the call of duty to help my wife who was suffering from back pain.

In these days of 'service with a scowl', we were really glad to see that the good people of Doncaster have retained both their manners and sense of humour.

We'd have no hesitation in returning, or indeed recommend the area to our friends or family.
