TODAY

DANCING: Enjoy lunchtime ballroom dancing at the Parklands Ballroom, Wheatley Hall Road from 11.30am to 3pm. Dancing to live music from a resident organist with bar refreshments available. Admission is £2 with proceeds to charity. For further details contact Malinda on 01302 884707.
PUBS: Doncaster's newest beer festival will be held at Tonik bar on Wood Street from today until Sunday. The festival will be held in the upstairs bar and revellers will be able to sample over 20 cask ales while real ciders will be a
vailable on draught alongside continental bottled lagers. There will be a pub quiz, the opportunity to challenge the owner at Connect Four and live music. Tickets are £15 on the night or £12 in advance.

JAZZ: The Silver Leaf Jazz Band perform at the regular Jazz Into Doncaster series at the Rockingham Arms, Bennetthorpe. The show starts at 8.30pm and admission is £5 on the door.

EVENTS: The Bentley Bonanza and Robinsons Fun Fair takes place at Bentley Park and Pavilion from today until Sunday. The event will be open from 6pm to 10pm today, 2pm to 10pm on Saturday and 1pm to 7pm on Sunday when a gala day from 1pm to 5pm including trampolines, displays, clowns, entertainers and bands will take place.

NIGHTS OUT: It's one for the ladies as Here Come The Boys, a sensational new show starring the hottest guys from the USA and the UK, comes to The Dome for an evening of raunchy routines. Tickets are available from the box office on 01302 370777. More details available at www.herecometheboys.com.

NIGHTS OUT: Enjoy some summer loving with a Grease tribute night at the Danum Hotel. The night includes a two course meal and songs from the classic 70s musical. Tickets are available on 01302 342261.

THEATRE: Shine, presented by the Emma Cowlishaw School of Dance, showcasing pupils' work, takes place at the Civic Theatre today and tomorrow at 7pm. Admission is £6.50 and tickets are available on 01302 342349.

SATURDAY

CLUBS: Enjoy a mix of old skool classics at Trilogy every Saturday from 11pm with Back In The Day. Admission is £3 before midnight.

CLUBS: The smoothest R&B sounds will be served up by Henry Love in the Late Night Love Lounge at Trilogy from 3am to 6am. All drinks are £2 and admission is £4.

OUTDOORS: Woodland adventures, from pond dipping and shelter building to games and crafts, will form the basis of Junior Rangers at Sandall Beat Wood from 10am to noon. To become a member contact 01302 300798.

EVENTS: Stainforth Water Festival will be held in the car park of the Central Club where stallholders and visitors will be entertained by shanty singers, dancers and traditional craftsmen. Barges and narrow boats are expected from across the North of England. The event takes place throughout the day.

EVENTS: BBC antiques expert Thomas Plant, who regularly features on shows such as Flog It! and Bargain Hunt will be giving valuation advice at the Trolleybus Museum, Sandtoft from 11am to 5pm. Museum admission prices are £5 adults, £3 seniors and children and £15 for a family. Admission prices will include one free item valuation - an additional charge will be made for subsequent items. Admission charges also include unlimited trolleybus rides, vintage motorbus tours and all the usual museum attractions on offer.

EVENTS: Shoppers visiting Doncaster are in line for a whole host of summer fun from 10am to 3pm when the market hosts barbecue cooking demonstrations from popular former Coronation Street actor and accomplished chef Chris Walker. The Doncaster based star will answer questions about cooking – as well as preparing food and signing autographs.

MUSIC: Haxey Festival takes place from 1pm when festival goers will be able to see The Really Hot Chilli Peppers, Blondee and Sterotonics, along with a number of local bands including the Urchin Child from Doncaster. For further information and to buy tickets visit www.fakefestivals.co.uk.

WALK: The final walk of the Heron Way Walking Festival will take place from 11.10am at the old market cross, Hooton Pagnell. The walk crosses ancient lanes towards Pickburn through Woodlands Community Forest and Highfields Country Park to Castle Hills. The five mile walk will take approximately two and a half hours.

SUNDAY

EVENTS: The regular Keepmoat Stadium car boot sale takes place from 6.30am to 12.30pm. Toilet and refreshment facilities will be available and further details are available on 01302 862480.

CHILDREN: Mini Beast Mania, a family event for people of all ages to
discover insects and bugs in the great outdoors, takes place at Bentley Community Woodland from 10am to noon. Places can be booked in advance on 01302 820278.

OUTDOORS: A community environment centre open day all about scarecrows will be held at Sandall Beat from 1pm to 4pm. Enjoy fancy dress, music and and games with prizes for the best scarecrow outfits for children under 11.

WALK: Dearne Valley Ramblers will be out and about once more on a 7.5 mile trek from Edale. The moderate/strenuous route will take in Mam Tor. The walk sets off at 10am and places can be booked with Ruth Law on 01709 866844.

MONDAY

EXHIBITION: Cusworth Hall will be playing host to Gypsy Roma, a small display celebrating Doncaster's Gypsy Roma and Traveller heritage. The display will include a gypsy cart and runs until June 28.

DANCING: Social, ballroom and sequence dancing takes place at Bentley Pavilion every Monday from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Contact 875027 for more information.

THEATRE: Enjoy all your Eighties favourites including Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Footloose and Walking On Sunshine with Back To The 80s, presented by the Carr-Nival Academy of Theatre Skills at the Civic Theatre from 7pm. TUESDAY

CLUBS: Step back in time with Pop at Trilogy. The fun starts at 11pm with entry 80p and drinks 80p all night. The playlist includes pop, indie, R&B, dance and old skool classics.
