THE Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Oasis could all be appearing in Doncaster as part of a new Fake Festival.
OK, so they may be tribute acts, but creator of the festival Jez Lee is about to prove that tribute acts can be just as good, if not better than the real thing, as he brings his latest festival to Doncaster.

The event is all about restoring the village fete back into those summer months, but with an added twist of modern entertainment for the locals. Jez created Fake Faces, a look-a-like agency back in 2003 and has since created Fake Bands, who specialise in tribute acts for famous musical artists. Now after the success of both agencies he's hoping the festivals will be an equal success.

There are six events planned for 2008 including festivals in Haxey and Belton with the main Fake Festival taking place in Haxey on June 28 and Belton on September 6.

For more information go to www.fakefestivals.co.uk or call 0800 6522852.
