Killers tour sells out in hours

The Killers, whose much-anticipated third album, Day & Age, is released on November 24th, put tickets for their UK Arena dates for February 2009 on sale at 10am this morning - and by two and a half hours later, every single ticket for the tour had already sold out
That's 150,000 tickets in a morning.

Lucky ticket-holders will be able to see The Killers in the following places.



February

Monday 23rd London O2

Tuesday 24th London O2

Thursday 26th Birmingham LG Arena

Saturday 28th Cardiff Arena

March

Monday 2nd Sheffield Arena

Tuesday 3rd Nottingham Arena

Thursday 5th Aberdeen AECC Arena

Friday 6th Glasgow SECC

Saturday 7th Newcastle Arena

Monday 9th Manchester MEN Arena

Tuesday 10th Manchester MEN Arena


The Killers, meanwhile, will play their only remaining UK show of 2008 at the Royal Albert Hall on November 10th. This show will be broadcast live on Radio 1's Zane Lowe show.

The first single from Day & Age, Human, will be released ahead of the album on November 17th.
