FED up of fireworks and bored of bonfires?

Today very well may be November 5 but if you don't want to remember, remember and would rather do something else over the next few days, then our fantastic Free Press Freetime Fab Five guide is here to help.
Going out needn't be about bangs and whizzes and firework displays - there's lots of other things going on over the coming week to keep people of all ages entertained. But if you are after Bonfire Night ideas, don't miss our great guide to this year's events and activities on pages 24 and 25.
This week, it's all about live entertainment and music with musical legends The Drifters taking centre stage at the Civic Theatre with the the same venue playing host to comedy stars Billy Pearce and Duncan Norvelle a few days later.
If you like comedy, The Little Theatre is staging the popular farce Run For Your Wife and talking of runners, there will be plenty in action as Town Moor plays host to the final big race meeting of the year, the November Handicap.
And last but not least, wake up before you go go to the Danum Hotel where the popular town centre venue will be playing host to a George Michael and Wham! tribute night.

COME ON OVER TO THE CIVIC!

One of the biggest selling bands of all time is coming to town this weekend for a night packed with hits and memories.
Soul legends The Drifters will perform classics including Save The Last Dance For Me, Come On Over To My Place, Up On The Roof and Saturday Night At The Movies as well as treating the Civic Theatre audience to an array of other classics.
The one-off show forms part of the band's UK tour and release of a new album, The Drifters: Five Decades and Moore in memory of the late, great former lead singer Johnny Moore.

RUNNING JOKE

Classic Ray Cooney farce Run For Your Wife continues its run at The Little Theatre until Saturday - and has already been playing to packed houses.
The show tells the story of John Smith, a London cabbie with two wives - one in Streatham and one in Wembley - and his hilarious attempts to keep one a secret from the other.
The Avon-Greyfriars production is packed with bellylaughs as poor John lurches from one disaster to another.

WAKE UP AND GO-GO TO THE DANUM

If you are a big fan of George Michael, make tracks for the Danum Hotel tomorrow night for a tribute night devoted to the sounds of the musical legend.
The show will feature all the hits from George's Wham! days such as Freedom and I'm Your Man as well as later solo smashes such as Faith and A Different Corner.
And as well as live music and dancing, guests will also be be able to tuck into a two course meal and party the night away.

RACING CERTAINTY!

It's November Handicap day at Doncaster Racecourse as Town Moor stages its last big event of the year - the final day of the flat racing season.
Racegoers will be descending on Doncaster for the big meet which brings the curtain down on Flat racing before the National Hunt season over the jumps kicks off.
A string of top jockeys will be dropping in and of course, there will be all the usual action off the course with entertainments and attractions in the enclosures for all.

CHASE ME!

Camp comedians Billy Pearce and Duncan Norvelle team up for a comedy double header - and a host of laughs.
TV favourite Billy, best known for his risque one liners and cheeky chappy brand of humour will be teaming up with 80s favourite Duncan for a night packed with great gags and hilarious anecdotes and stories.
Best remembered for his camp "chase me" routine, Duncan is no stranger to Doncaster, having played a string of dates in the town down the years.
