A MOTORCYCLIST has died of severe head injuries following a crash in Conisbrough.
Twenty-six-year-old Andrew William Taylor was driving a blue Peugeot Velocity 49cc scooter along Old Road, Conisbrough, towards Hill Top, when he came off the bike after running into a parked silver Renault Laguna.

It is believed that he lost control of the scooter after hitting the kerb at around 2.55am on Sunday.

Mr Taylor of Woodlands Way, Denaby Main was pronounced dead at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen the bike prior to the smash to call 0114 220 2970.
