AN 18-YEAR-OLD man lost pints of blood and had to be rescued by emergency services after getting his foot stuck in the window of a school.
An ambulance was called to McAuley Lower School in Sycamore Lane in Cantley to rescue the man, who severed his achilles tendon, shortly after 7pm yesterday.

A fire crew were also called to the scene to break open the gates of the school to let the ambulance in.
