Man beaten unconscious

A MAN was beaten unconscious in an early hours street attack in Doncaster.
The 28-year-old Zimbabwean was assaulted in Kings Road, Wheatley, after a row broke out between the victim and another man.

The victim, who lives in the Kings Road area, was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

He regained consciousness and was not seriously injured, police said.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident which happened at about 4.20am on Sunday to come forward.

The injured man was black, 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall and of medium build. He was wearing a white hat and baggy trousers.
