Man arrested after crash leaves woman injured

POLICE have arrested a man after a car crash in Balby left a woman with life threatening injuries.
Emergency services were called to the crash, which happened on Tickhill Road at 9.19pm last night.

Police made an arrest after searching the area for a man who was seen running away from the accident involving a Subaru and a Vauxhall Corsa.

A fire crew had to spend 20 minutes cutting the woman, who is in her 20s, from the wreckage and she was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary with a broken wrist and head and chest injuries.

The two men travelling in the Subaru had minor injuries.
