Man stabbed in town centre take-away row

A REVELLER was stabbed by a man armed with a knife after an argument broke out in a town centre takeaway.
An 18-year-old man from Rossington was in Best Kebab Hall Gate, Doncaster, when he became involved in an altercation with another man.

The attacker, who was brandishing a large knife, then lunged towards the victim who was caught with the weapon despite jumping back.

He suffered a small cut and bruising to his chest.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.

The attacker was believed to be Turkish, in his early 20s, 5ft 9ins tall, slim and spoke with a Yorkshire accent.

Police have only just released details of the incident which happened at 12.30am on Saturday, April 12.
