Knife attack on man walking home from pub

A MAN was slashed with a knife then thrown down the steps of a subway as he made his way home from a Doncaster pub.
The 57-year-old victim had left the White Swan, in Balby Road, Balby, and was walking down the steps of a nearby subway when he was aware someone was behind him.

Three teenagers, one armed with a knife, lashed out at him and the man was then pushed down the rest of the steps.

The youths ran past him to the other side of the subway in Balby Road.

The victim went back to the White Swan and was taken to hospital by ambulance where he required stitches for a cut to his arm.

The attacker with the knife was white, 6ft tall, 14 to 16-years-old, slim, with fair hair. He was wearing a dark hooded top and dark bottoms.

The other two youths were white and slim.

One was 5ft 10ins tall and between 14 to 18-years-old. The other was about 5ft 5ins tall and was wearing a dark coloured hooded top and dark bottoms.
