Intruder shock for pensioner
AN elderly woman woke to find a thief in her living room stealing a wallet and a purse from her coffee table.
Police believe that the man entered the property in Grange Avenue in Hatfield through an unlocked kitchen door, then stole the cash and escaped in a white transit van with another man.
The incident happened on April 7 at 3.55pm.
The man was described as white, 6ft tall and of a thin build with he had jet black hair parted to the right and a fringe across his forehead.
He had a long thin face with big eyes, was approximately 25-years-old and was wearing a dark blue or black bomber jacket and black trousers.
