A MAN has died after a plunging through the roof of a Doncaster farm in a suspected industrial accident.
Police have launched an investigation into the death of Clifford Hartley, who it is believed suffered serious head injuries in the fall at Westfield Farm, Armthorpe.

The 59-year-old was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary but died a short time later.

Police investigators believe he fell through a roof while working on the site in Nutwell Lane yesterday morning.

Building work is currently underway on a barn in the farm, but it has not been confirmed if this was where the fall occurred.

An inquest is expected to be opened next week into the death of Mr Hartley who was from Skegness, Lincolnshire.
