The ambulance service and fire crews were called to the scene shortly before 11pm. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 62-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.

A post-mortem examination is expected to take place later today and the scene will be forensically examined.
