The South Yorkshire Police Male Voice Choir will hold its annual concert at St George's Minster on Saturday, May 24 at 7.30pm.
Special guests on the night, to be hosted by the Bishop of Sheffield the Right Reverend Jack Nicholls, will be the band of the Royal Air Force College RAF Cranwell.

The choir is hoping to raise a substantial amount of money to be donated to the 'Help for Heroes' charity, in light of the serious injuries suffered by Doncaster soldier Ben Parkinson while serving his country in Afghanistan in 2006.

Also expected to attend are the Deputy Lord Lieutenant and the High Sherrif of South Yorkshire.

Tickets priced £10 can be booked by contacting Rob Dixon on 01302 539284. A limited number of tickets will also be available on the night.
