Swinton 16 Doncaster 44
A HAT trick of tries from centre Zeb Luisi helped the Dons bounce back to winning ways in League Two following last week's crushing National Rail Cup final defeat.
Doncaster travelled to Swinton just three days after their 60-0 cup thrashing without injured goalkicking star Kyle Briggs and full back Shaun Leaf.
But they showed their mettle - and their fitness - with a comfortable eight-try demolition of their League Two rivals.
Ellery Hanley's men led 26-10 at the interval and never relaxed their grip in the second half as they went on to record a well earned victory.
Two tries apiece from Wayne Reittie and Corey Lawrie, and one from Peter Green, plus six goals from Gareth Morton completed the rout.
Now fifth placed Dons face a vital televised game away to third placed Oldham next Thursday night as they bid to maintain their push for promotion.
