Rovers needed to show a big improvement in the second half to have any chance of pulling the match out of the fire.
But the home side were first to threaten again with Vincent just unable to connect with a well flighted pass from Gillespie.

Rovers finally began to get their act together in the 49th minute when Coppinger burst through to set up Roberts but his fierce left foot shot was tipped round the post by Higgs.

There was another chance for Rovers a minute later when Mills had a goal bound header carried by Higgs at the expense of another corner.

Cheltenham looked nervous and were sitting back trying to protect their lead.

It looked a dangerous tactic inviting Rovers to attack but O'Driscoll's men needed to show a cutting edge to make them pay.

Wellens fired over after a shot from Coppinger had rebounded to him in the 54th minute and both sides made changes soon after.

Lindegaard replaced Brown for Cheltenham on the hour mark and O'Driscoll sent on Price for Taylor a minute later.

Latest Score: Cheltenham 1 Rovers 0, Forest 3 Yeovil 0, Carlisle 1 Bournemouth 0.
If the scores remain the same FOREST will be promoted.
