Both sets of players went into a huddle before the start and when the game did get on the way Cheltenham were the first to threaten.
Mills lost the flight of the ball which felt to the feet of Gillespie but the Town top scorer fired high and wide.

It took Doncaster some time to settle but Green went close in the 12th minute with a header that sailed just wide of the post follow
ing a corner from Stock.

Rovers were trying to get their passing game going but had not really managed to achieve a pattern to their play.

Stock tried his luck with an ambition 25 yard lob shot in the 17th minute but the ball went high over the bar.

Cheltenham created a good chance a minute later when Brown and Vincent combined but Connor headed wide from about 10 yards.

Gillespie failed to make the most of an opportunity in the 21st minute but there was a shock for Rovers when the home side snatched the lead three minutes later.1

GILLESPIE made ground on the right side of Rovers defence and took the ball passed O'Connor before sliding home a clever low shot that went just inside the far post.

Latest scores: Cheltenham 1 Rovers 0, Forest 2 Yeovil 1, Carlisle 0 Bournemouth 0.
If the scores remain the same FOREST will be promoted
