Hanley delighted with Dons flying start

MAXIMUM points from their opening two fixtures have given promotion chasing Doncaster the perfect start to their National League Two campaign.
A 56-0 demolition of London Skolars on Good Friday was followed by Easter Monday's 54-12 success at Blackpool Panthers - putting the Dons on top of the early season table.
Boss Ellery Hanley and his coaching staff were delighted with their side's start and are hoping they can make it a trio of wins with success against Swinton Lions at the Keepmoat on Sunday (3pm).
Assistant coach Tony Miller said: "The lads have done very well.
"The most pleasing aspect has been our defence because we've only conceded 12 points in the two games.
"Both tries came from kicks through so we've not had our line broken.
"All in all it has been the ideal start.
"Now we're looking forward to the Swinton game - we have got to build on how we have begun.
"Let's not forget it is only the start and the target is to keep the momentum going.
"We said all along that we were gearing up for the league because this is the big thing for us.
"Now we need to continue in the same vein."
Following qualification from the Northern Rail Cup group stage and progress in the Challenge Cup the real business of NL2 started with the double header over the Easter period.
Hanley predictably maintained that the league was of greater importance than the two cup competitions and his side did not disappoint in their opening displays.
Doncaster began the campaign with a ten try demolition of Skolars and it took them just five minutes to open the scoring when powerful centre Zeb Luisi touched down and stand off Kyle Briggs, who kicked superbly all night, added the first of his eight conversions.
Prop Alex Benson scored under the posts nine minutes later before Wayne Reittie and Luke Gale extended the lead to 22-0 by the half hour mark.
Even awful wintry weather conditions could not stop Doncaster and two late first half tries from Briggs and full back Andreas Bauer gave them a 34-0 half time advantage.
The one way traffic continued after the break with Gale completing his hat trick either side of Reittie's second of the night, and Kiwi star Corey Lawrie finished the rout eight minutes from time.
Another slick display three days later saw the Dons run in nine tries to condemn home team Blackpool to a 45th straight defeat - despite playing the final 25 minutes with 12 men after winger Reittie was dismissed for dissent.
Gale crossed for the opener after just two minutes before Briggs, Jason Hart and Lawrie all touched down with Briggs converting each of the four tries.
Although Blackpool halved the deficit with two tries of their own for a 24-12 half time scoreline the Dons took command again when Reittie touched down in the left corner on 50 minutes.
The former Leeds man was shown the red card five minutes later but the numerical disadvantage did not prevent Hanley's side from running in four more tries - Gale and Lawrie each adding to the score with Luisi and Benson rounding it off.
Each try was improved by Briggs who completed a perfect kicking record on the day.
Miller added: "The two half backs have been outstanding in the two games.
"But in both games it has been a terrific effort from one to 17."
