PLAY-OFF final hero Chris Buttery has joined the Dons Championship rivals Batley Bulldogs.
Versatile Buttery, who scored the opening Dons try in September's National League Two promotion success against Oldham, failed to agree a new deal at the Keepmoat.

It paved the way for the second rower or centre to look around for a new club and Batley have moved quickly to snap up his services.

But director of rugby Carl Hall has confirmed that prop Mark Castle - another member of last season's promotion-winning side - has agreed a new deal.

* New chief executive Dave Marshall is hoping for a large turnout at a fans forum meeting tomorrow night.

Club officials will discuss their vision for the future with supporters at Doncaster Toll Bar's Prospect Road base starting at 6.30pm.
