TONY Miller's Dons will face Batley Bulldogs in the inaugural Northern Rail Nines.
Doncaster have been drawn in Pool B of the new round-robin competition and will also take on Championship One promotion contenders Keighley Cougars and Hunslet Hawks.

Earlier this month the Dons were mauled 70-6 by the Bulldogs - and will hope for revenge when the sides meet again on Saturday, July 11, in the nine-a-side version of the game.

Doncaster are also scheduled to visit Batley in the Cooperative Championship on Sunday, July 19.

The Northern Rail Nines competition will see 18 teams compete in a two-day tournament at Fylde RUFC.

The top eight sides will progress to Sunday's Trophy competition, with the remaining ten teams contesting the Plate.

The finals of both the trophy and plate competitions will be played as curtain raisers to the 13-a-side Northern Rail Cup Final between Widnes Vikings and Barrow Raiders at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road on July 12.

Tickets for the Northern Rail Nines are available from the Dons and priced £9 for adults and £5 for concessions.
