THE nation's deaf footballers will descend on Doncaster for the annual DeaFA Cup five-a-side competition this weekend
The tournament, organised and hosted by staff at the Doncaster College for the Deaf, will see 13 teams from around the country battle it out for trophies before watching the FA Cup Final between Portsmouth and Cardiff at Wembley together in the Sports Hall bar.

A presentation ceremony will follow the final whistle and then the teams from Leeds, Manchester, Colchester, Blackburn, as well as Doncaster, will see the day out with a party for players, coaches, friends and family.

The DeaFA Cup begins at 10am on Saturday and the teams will play a series of group games before advancing to knockout stages in both men's and women's competitions.

Tickets for the party are £3 for anyone who is not part of a team.

For more information contact the Doncaster College for the Deaf on (01302) 386700.
